Honestly, v7 was okay for the first couple days but the lag and the lack of auto-full view and everything just ticks me right off. I'm not going to do the dramatic I'M LEAVING AND I'LL NEVER COME BAAACK thing but I'm NOT going to bother checking DA regularly anymore. If I paint something particularly interesting or make a brush set I'll drop by and post it. I'll reply to comments, it just might be particularly slow. This isn't the whole LEAVING FOREVER drama. It's just... I'm not going to be here, really. The gallery remains, my resources remain, you can note me if you want me to see something. I'm not checking my watchlist. I'm not checking journals. It lags too much for me to handle it on my connection.

So I'm going to try a new art site. It's less laggy, reminds me of early DA, and way, way smaller. Me over on Storm Artists. I shall be posting art there from hereon, at least until DA becomes less laggy and frustrating (v8 please!)... though as I said, I'll drop by here and post if I make something particularly interesting.

I shall, as always, be around on my webcomic, Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday...

And I'm experimenting with selling things on Artfire and of course, in my webcomic site's store. Check it out, maybe I'll drop by here and post some pictures in the near future.

But honestly. DA's become too big, too choke-y, too cliquey, and I never felt at home here anyway. I think it's time for a change for the smaller. Take no offense if I take a while to reply to your comments. This site's just too... slow now. As I said, this isn't the leaving forever drama. I'll be back if and when the site improves enough that it doesn't take me thirty seconds to load a single image. But in that state... well... I can't browse my watchlist anymore. Just can't. I would love to see and comment on your art still, you will just have to note me or I'll likely never see it.
