Well, technically it's not quite horror, it's dark. But I didn't feel like putting another picture in fantasy when I could put something in horror. ^_^ Vampires are horrific, right?

Current facination with vampires standing. Must... draw... more.

Oh, yeah. Character (c) to me. She looks like Tiana, anyway. (Tiana's technically a dhampir. ^_^ So I guess she could have fangs.)

And... yeah. 3 hours or so in Paint Shop Pro WITH A MOUSE. Texture is my own. Photo reference used for lighting.

hmm.. I shall critique now! XDDD okie.. The texture is great, it just seems slightly too visible where the hair is... the nose looks tilted to the right and her left nostril should be visible.. at least a little bit... her entire left side of the face looks like its farther back than the rest of the face. the vampire teeth seem to be out of place... at least the left one should go more to the left. hehehe... wow i haven't written critiques in soooo long!

i hope this helps..c.c;; because the picture is awesome! I'm working on drawing more realistic faces myself hehe... since i started out with anime...c.c;;

Aye, I know there's flaws in it. Intentional, actually... I hate perfect people. (mad grin) Reference picture's fault all the way.

Yeah, the teeth should be over a bit. I didn't have a reference for that. But the girl (the final here is one of my characters) had crooked teeth, so, y'know. Aye, it does help. I'm gradually working on getting better. There's another picture in my gallery that I did in a similar style... Snow Mage... a bit after this one, if you wanna look. I think the features improved a bit for working mouse only... heh. Are you using a tablet?

I'm not going to change picture, anyway... XD. I never do. I take advice to mind and apply it next time! (jazz hands) I learned realism, so, y'know.

hehe... yeah i almost never change pictures unless i just randomly decide to work on something more just for the fun of it! XDD hehe... yeah i've been learning realism too.... but i prefer something like anime-realism (because to me it just looks coool and fun to do! ) or surrealism-ish stuff! XDDD reality can be boring sometimes unless you present it in a strange way...
but for me the most upsetting part about art is when others don't appreciate the amount of work you put into something and how much you really tried... *sigh* i guess noone can really understand that... and people grade the final version and not just what you see in it and what you wanted it to be.. gahh i went off on a tangent.. sorry sorry..
but yeah.. hehe yeah i don't like perfect people either (but not too deformed either! hehe ) i like pictures where you can see the personality of the person being painted/drawn! because when that exists in the picture... you just can't take your eyes off of it! heheeee

awesome

vampires are cool aslong as u use selective mythology. like, cat pas over a running stream. theyre cool when u pretend stuff like that dosent exist lol

XD. I have my own interpetation of vampires. It's the Terry Pratchett one-- they can reform and various mythological things can hurt them if they let it, more or less. I don't care for the whole "EEK! GARLIC! EEK! A CROSS! EEK, SUNLIGHT!" thing. To me, vampires are cool, but I don't have to follow the rules. (bwhahaa) Sunlight gives them a headache, but doesn't melt them... I DID always appreciate the no reflection thing, but came up with an explanation for that... and running water? I never figured out wtf was up with that. Bah.

If I'm going to make vampire characters, I'll do them my own way. Not all of mine are even addicted to blood... that's just the default setting. One of them drains people's emotions. ^_^ She's fun.

Anime it was. Well, translated into a novel anime. And, of course, my own characters... *jazz hands*

Did it happen to be Hellsing related? Lol. I know it's a violent show, but I love the art . . . neh . . . The picture's very interesting though, so therefore you must draw more!

Nope, not Hellsing. I've read a bit of that, though. Ages and ages ago. >< Interesting art, nonetheless there. Nah, I was reading Vampire Hunter D as per listed in my journal update. ^_^ Interesting book, English translation of a Japanese one. Really neat illustrations. I really love them. They're this ink scribbly stuff and it's really dark. I should try imitating it.
