Our first attempts were perhaps not as successful as we would have liked them to have been. Too desperate to fill our need, we neglected logic for science, a cascade of creativity filling a void which should have been filled with sense.

We viewed our creations as tools, but imbuing a stone with the necessary power to serve as a hammer turned out to be far more simple than imbuing our own life into bodies.

But, while creating a hammer would have given us the ability to grasp it, our constructs flew rapidly out of our control. Living, breathing, speaking things that existed out of the command of our domain.

This is not a creation story.

We were already there.

Again with the beautiful prose to accompany the images! This has a very watery feel...like she's being swallowed by a slice of ocean!

Would you believe it started out by me testing a hair brush and drawing a swirly s shape and kind of vaguely detailing it out until I realized 'hey it looks kind of like a cloak if I just add shoulders here...'

And well, it just kind of went nuts from there. My headcanon for her is that she's the creation of a water elemental, hence the prose. I think the mini-stories with images is going to become a thing, I feel like it adds to what I'm creating.
