This is possibly the first picture I've done in a while I've liked.

I really like. I mean, there's a few things I'd change, but I don't wanna.

Took a while to find a catagory for this one, since I'm trying to fill more catagories... so into "open format" she went, since I don't have a story behind her anyway, I can't justify "fantasy" or "sci-fi".

Crediting :iconstock-of-ace: . Since I traced one of her nude 'classical pose' stocks for the pose and then modified to my heart's content. Not a photomanip, but I do adore her stock and think she deserves some free publicity here.

Seriously. Check it out. She's got some pretty cool background stock and some awesome people stock. Lovely classical stuff.

(I went with no mature filter on here but if people find the back offensive, I'll put a warning on it.

Ooh, pretty.

There's one weird green line abouts her left shoulder blade that's distracting. Like, it seems like it should be there, but it's not quite long enough, and so it breaks up the flow of the other lines. I really like the colors, though. Not often that I'm a fan of mud-green people... but the contrast here works.

Lol. Exactly where did you figure out I was THINKING about my lines? I described it to Jandalf like this.

"It appears to be the closest thing you're ever going to get to the digital version of WHEEE LOOK I CAN BLOTCH PAINT ALL OVER AND CALL IT ART AHAHAHAHAHAHA MESS AHAHAHAHAHA COLORS THAT DON'T MATCH AHAHAHAHA I'M AN ARTIST LOOKIT MEEEEEE I'M BEING DERANGED AND CRAZY"

And that about explains the process of my coloring it. Yeah. Though I was going for extreme contrast. That's about it. I do see the line but eh, it's not going to get fixed, it's one line and likely no one else is gonna see the picture anyway. XD

I think you did awesome job. You referred to my stock photo but managed to create something really different looking and beautiful out of it. I really like your style of using just lines while drawing something. The green colors look great. How did you know that green and pink are one of my favorite colors by the way? ;P

Oh really? I was just going for contrast. I didn't know but glad you like the color choice! You didn't have to comment, I just noticed you commented by note instead. I haven't seen that done so often.

It really was my goal, though. To make it look different. I don't like photomanipulations where there's nothing really DIFFERENT to them, just the picture a bit tweaked--or art that's the picture drawn as a copy. Your original was great, art all its own, but then it wouldn't have been MY picture so much, would it?

I don't really have any specific style, this was experimental... I liked the result, definately.

hah, yeah... I comment sometimes by notes and sometimes on the pic itself... I guess it just depends which window I have currently open =P But you are very welcome about the comment. I enjoy greatly seeing pictures that don't look like the stock photo at all. It proves that the stock was actually useful. :)

But yeah, I think this could really be your style. At least I like it. It's rough but still very smooth and beautiful. :heart:

Yeah. XD I know the feeling. Sometimes I don't comment on a user page to thank people because eh, I can thank them over here.

I love that too. Stock IS useful for photomanipulation but seeing it like this means it was useful in a different kind of manner. Inspiring, you know, instead of just there.

I really love the rough art too, I'm very inspired by the art of tobiee, yellowworm and pixieface. Tobiee you've probably seen before, he's popular, but the other two aren't quite so much. Do check them out, they have really neat rough styles. I find it gorgeous, anyway, art that's not dependant on being photorealistic, but on implying rather than displaying. :heart:
